We are so thankful that kids are helping other kids!
I was a middle school teacher and in education for 20 years before coming to work at Feed the Hungry. Educating children in philanthropy and giving of their time, treasures and talents is so needed in our culture! In fact, since coming to FTH, I have developed a school-to-school partnership with a number of schools around the country that are doing great things like your students! We have resources to connect a US-based class or school with a classroom or school around the world through interactive videos, Skype calls directly to the schools and projects designed to help raise awareness and encourage fundraising for specific projects. We also like to direct school staff to the Otter Cares Foundation which created a free philanthropy curriculum that is standards based and designed by educators.
