Congratulations to Harley Roosa for being the first Cherokee Chamber of Commerce Student of the Month!
CMS staff chose Harley because he is a hard worker, kind to others, and he is a positive role model. We love seeing our students take an active role helping others, and Harley always seems to do that.
He takes an active role volunteering in the community and for the last two years Harley and his family have visited people of Cherokee that don’t have family to ensure they have at least one gift to open for Christmas.
Harley says the best thing about helping people is the feeling of happiness knowing you can make a difference.
After he graduates, Harley wants to continue to help others by working in the mental health field so he can make a difference in the lives of people with mental or physical disabilities.
