Congratulations to Riley Lubeck for being named February Cherokee Chamber of Commerce Student of the Month. Riley is the daughter of Mike and Cara Lubeck of Cherokee. Riley is involved in volleyball, softball, track, band, jazz band, choir, and Hawkeyes.
Riley was chosen by her teachers because of the kindness she shows to others. She can be counted on to lend a helping hand in the classroom or to a fellow student, and she treats her peers with dignity and respect.
Riley helps others by donating and volunteering. One of the many notable things she has done is donate 100 cans of food to the local food bank. She also volunteers at church and is a bell ringer for the Salvation Army.
After graduation Riley would like study plant and animal science. She would also like to open a food bank and help the homeless.
