Mr. DeVos's Science 9 class
Effects of Momentum
March 27, 2019
"In an effort to study the effects of momentum, force, and time, the 9th grade science students in Mr. De Vos's classroom designed contraptions to catch eggs from the height of 1 meter and 2 meters. The goal was to stop the egg's momentum without damaging the egg in the process. The materials students used were limited to several simple household products including but not limited to Kleenex, pencils, straws, Styrofoam cups, plastic bags, rubber bands, etc. Overall, both classes enjoyed the project!
