TAG Students Participate in STEM Energy Festival

4th, 7th and 8th Grades

The 4th grade and 7/8th grade TAG students participated in a STEM Energy Festival at the 185th Air Refueling Wing in Sioux City. As part of the festival the students competed in a KidWind challenge in which they were to design and build a wind turbine prior to the event. The 7th grade students brought home a 3rd place overall win, and the 4th grade won "Most Innovative" design. This was a great learning opportunity for all students involved!
