Human Anatomy and Physiology Class participates in a Science Education Day at BVU

April 23, 2023

Mrs. Anderson's Human Anatomy and Physiology class participated in a Science Education Day at BVU on Friday. They were in teams that rotated between many lab stations to try to solve a murder mystery. Lab topics applied Anatomy and Physiology, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics concepts, in addition to Entomology, Genetics, Cryptanalysis, and Data Mining. It was a great day of learning, critical thinking, problem-solving, team work, and collaboration. Not every group conducted every lab, so they had to share out their information and hypotheses with each other to try to solve the mystery. It was a competitive day with an awards ceremony at the end. Congrats to Allie Shea and Julia DeVos for their 2nd place finish, and to Drew Spooner and Amelia Brown for their 1st place finish! The whole Anatomy and Physiology class represented Cherokee very well!
