Calling all Braves fans who love to share your school spirit and promote school pride for our Cherokee Football team!  We would love to have you try out to be a part of our Football Cheerleading Squad! Tryouts are held each spring for the upcoming school year.  We have a JV football cheer squad, as well as a Varsity football cheer squad. 

We kick off our season with a camp/clinic in the summer, along with practices to get ready for the year. Our football cheerleaders help pep up the crowd with cheers, fun games, and activities throughout the football season.  We also make locker decorations and run-through banners. We help lead many homecoming activities to include: pep rallies, coronation and the parade. 

We also team up with the Cherokee Booster Club and PTA with our Kid Captain program. We encourage our elementary students to also join us for our Junior Cheer night!
