About Our Program

Cherokee High School Esports provides students with a competitive, collaborative, and inclusive gaming environment where they can grow as players, teammates, and leaders. Our program emphasizes sportsmanship, communication, strategic thinking, and continuous improvement—skills that carry far beyond the game.

We are proudly affiliated with the Iowa High School Esports Association (IAHESA) and compete against teams from across the state of Iowa. Through regular-season matches and playoff opportunities, our players have the chance to showcase their skills and work toward qualifying for the IAHESA State Championships.

Whether students are new to competitive gaming or seasoned players, our team welcomes everyone. We focus on intentional practice, game fundamentals, and strong teamwork—while still keeping the experience fun, supportive, and community-driven.
