The JETS team competed in the S.M.A.R.T. competition at Morningside College. The competition featured various aspects of math, biology, chemistry, and physics. In the individual part of the competition, Kyle Leeds placed 2nd in the physics portion, Logan Thorson placed 2nd in the math portion, Ethan Busse placed 3rd in the chemistry portion, and Allie Shea placed 1st overall in the biology portion! They all earned scholarships to Morningside should they choose to attend. In the team part of the competition, the 4 person crew of Amelia Brown, Logan Thorson, Kael Miller, and Julia De Vos led the Braves to a 2nd place finish out of 9 schools. The kids had a great day and represented Cherokee well!
